My housemate recently received and all-singing all-dancing blender for his birthday, and ever since our house has gone smoothie and fruit mad. I find smoothies are a great drink to start the day, and I feel good about drinking them because of all the fresh fruit packed in! I've been experimenting, and at the moment my favourite is this Strawberry, Mint and Apple combination.
How To:
1) Roughly chop a handful of strawberries, a few fresh mint leaves, and an apple.
2) Add ice cubes, some frozen summer fruits, and a squeeze of lemon.
3) Pour in a glug of orange juice and some cold water until the fruit mixture is covered.
4) Blend until smooth and enjoy!
